This is the first time I've completely forgotten my horse. Ack.
Good news is, this morning it was sunny again. Uma slept in, then put a blanket near the site and made an e-card for Sonja's birthday on the i-Pad.
This morning I finished the 'draft' versions of the plan, elevations, roofing plan, and foundation plan. Now Neal will review them, and we'll try to get to a final stage to submit to the county as changes to our original design.
And that's it! A recovery day...
Congratulations on your new project Jan and Neal and Uma! I wish you the best of success, and partly wish I was still living in your woods to help you with it :) I have no doubt you will build with care and be great stewards of this land.

Hey, wouldn't that be great! I just planted what I hope will be an elderberry grove back there on the edge of the woods. I propagated them from a bush that has fabulous black berries. Bringing some other things to join the firs and cedars...
